where can i find a engine lift plate or bracket for a vh45? one like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/400209295321?lpid=82 it says its universal but i wanna know if anyone else has used one of these and if they can hold alot.
Those are made to bolt in the valley or to the intake manifold of most domestic V8s. The vh45 doesn't really have anywhere to bolt to in the valley that I would trust to hold all of the weight.
You can always fabricate one. I took some steel plate and heated it up where I wanted to bend it, welded on a support truss and drilled a large hole to hook into, as well as two holes where you bolt it to the motor...then I just used wrapped the opposite chain around the passenger side rear intake runner. Worked out well...
