Ok guys I have a vh41de that I am planning to swap into a 93 FD RX7. I am looking to go manual transmission for the project. I am aware about the Z32 adapter plates for the vh45, but unsure if that will work for the vh41. I have the harness and ECU, but after searching am getting more and more confused and concerned so I am just gonna post my current questions.

Is there an easy manual transmission swap for the engine?
Am I going to have problems with the NATS/immobilizer, if so how do I fix this?
Anyone done a vh41de swap and made a write up, I plan to contribute and create one.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and yes I have done many searches.

I have access to the vehicle it was pulled from and can pull anything I need to trick the anti-theft including getting the key. It is about a 40 mile drive, so as long as I can figure out what needs to be pulled, it will be worth it if it will work. But I only have maybe 2 weeks before the car will be gone.

The wiring that you use will only be the engine harness and you will connect that to the Chassis harness. This being the case you shouldn't have issues with the NATS/immobilizer. The wiring you use doesn't need to connect with any of that stuff.

Not to many Vh41 swaps out there but check out V8 nissans as there is a guy on there who knows the VH41 very well and might be able to help you more. From my knowledge the VH41 swap will be very similar to that of the big brother VH45.

I would also suggest doing some more digging and research into the RX7 swap side of things (using the VH45 as a reference). By this I mean there are VH45 powered RX's out there and I would read all of them and they will give you a ton of info on the swap in terms or wiring and fitment.
