vh41de plenum

hi

i am thinking of doing up a new intake manifold or plenum.

application is for 1000hp. just wonder if the original is able to do the job for 1000hp? if yes, than i will delete this idea... else i will go with it.

lastly, any one have a spare VH41DE intake manifold to offer? i thinking of getting 1 to do it off the bench. than complete and install it.

Hmm, 1000HP on a stock plenum? From what I recall, the heads can flow about 700HP stock. The TB is good for about 700HP too. Seems like thats where you're going to hit your bottleneck, since most likely the plenum isnt going to cause a huge restriction...

Itd be interesting to try it on the stock manifold.. Im guessing youll need a good 25-30lbs of boost to do that..
