VH41 - variable cam timing

Hi All

I was wondering if someone can help me. I know how the VCT works on the VH45, on the front of the cam (similar to the VG V6 set up), but I can't quite work out how they work on a VH41. Especially since they are mounted on the side of the cam.

Does anyone have any detailed information or illustrations on how it works on the VH41?
