Just wondering if anyone has looked into who makes aftermarket rods and pistons for this engine?

Also are you able to transplant the VH45 crank into the VH41 and maintain a decent rod/stroke ratio?

This engine will be going into a R32 Skyline GTR and the power target is 1000hp at the wheels.

Cheers in advance for any input

For pistons I'd look into Atomic Speedware. They can make custom forged pistons for a very decent price. Quality? They're basically Arias pistons. Its owned by Nick Arias 3rd and are very high quality. http://www.atomicspeedware.com...s.htm

As for rods I'm still looking for a place that can do some custom rods for a decent price. I've heard that Scat can do them and for a very reasonable price, but I've not looked into that yet.

Those suckers are extremely expensive though... especially compared to what many companies can make a completely custom set for. Even their 4 cylinder pistons are more expensive.
