Hi,

Posting incase anyone was interested in a custom alloy inlet plenum complete with throttle body, fuel rails etc.

The plenum will be sized appropriately for the engine size and the runners will be curved.

I am aiming for 1000WHP in my R32 GTR so the plenum will be built to this requirment.

Anyone interested show contact me [email protected] and when more details are supplied by my engineer i will pass it on

Some details of my project:

VH41DE (custom build specs)Twin Garrett T04z TurbosR32 GTR and retaining the 4WD.

These setups will eventually be offered in kit form for other GTR owners wanting to do the same.

Cheers,42tt

welcome to NICO!!!

Would you be able to post the details here? We're all very interested... Any cost estimates? Any fuel rail modifications required?

I am interested in the design as well. Will it be a dual plenum style like this one:

http://www.zparts.com/showcase....html

I see a lot of people doing plenums for the VH45 similarly to this one. Also will the height clearance be better/worse? I am putting a VH45 in the Z32 so the height is very critical. The other benefit with this style is that the injectors are easily accessible, not so with the Q45 (and even worse with the Z32 where some of the spark plugs are even hard to reach).

Your putting twin T04z'z on!!!!! I've got a single T04z and with stock compression, retarded timing, very little fuel tuning, no electronic boost control, a wastegate that was opening at 5psi and then not controling boost and on 35.5" crossply offroad tyres, it got over 300rwhp at 5000rpm @ 10psi. The tuner recon the tyres suck about 40hp out as well. My goal is about 400rwhp and the tuner thinks we'll get that at 8psi. Sounds to me like your 1000whp is going to be pretty achievable.

I made one a while back:zerothread?id=211041But not keen on makin another as it was a massive mish. Car still not finished, but once we get a garage built I'll be in there. Uses common top feed injectors off an RX7, however I will probably replace with new when the time comes and go bigger. This setup JUST clears the std zed bonnet!

Ultrapulse - Nice manifold.

My manifold will be along the same lines (not a simple log manifold) with curved runners. The manifold will also use twin throttle's these will be hidden along with the throttle cable. The plenum will also be lower and wider for more bonnet clearance on varying cars. The runner's will also be larger at the plenum to help with air speed aswell as having bell mouths inside the plenum.

The manifold will be supplied as a kit comprising of:

ManifoldFuel RailsThrottle Bodies

They can also be plummed for nitrous on the underside of the runner.

More info as it comes to hand.

Email sent and bump for more information. Any Idea on price range? Will there be separate versions for the oval and siamese ports or are you going to make it work with both somehow (e.g. the runner part, which is specific to different heads, bolts onto the plenum part which is the same across motors)?
