Local machine shop and I are working together to make a simple adapter that bolts a Supra R154 gearbox to the Q45 bellhousing. I need definite buyers on this one because I plan to make a first batch of 10.

Cost will be around $550 US dollars for the adapter.

I am also working to put together a package deal with a bolt on button flywheel which retains the OEM flexplate, plus a hydraulic throwout bearing.

Pricing on this will be around $1000USD total.

So who wants in?

5 definite orders should be enough to get the ball rolling. I wont take any deposits until they are actually milled. And I will ship as soon as full payment is received for each order.

Let me know guys,

i think i emailed you about this

If you go tilton for the clutch, an aluminum "flywheel" like what you posted previously, there is no need to mill the transmission case, and you spec a relatively easily sourced clutch pack, i'm in

what is your expected timeframe?

how is your leg doing?

I have some questions. Where does the starter go? Could we still go with the Z32 flywheel because it seems ghetto and unsafe to me to use the AT flexplate?

the starter would remain in the stock VH location, and the original automatic flexplate would be used

the "flywheel" is a reduced diameter aluminum piece that sandwiches the original flexplate, presumably with longer "flywheel" bolts

if the flexplate seems ghetto then check out some roadracing rigs that run tilton clutches

to most reduce rotational innertia, you place as little mass at the extremity as possible.

also note, the stock flexplate is rediculously reliable in the stock setup, and would essentially be only used in starting the vehicle, so its strength isn't nearly as important in this sandwiched role

besides, custom stuff is always better, right?
