VH swap with OBDII

Hi I'm new to the from. I just purchased a 90 2+2 z32. It has a blown motor and my plan was just to replace the factory motor. But that never works for me.
I also own a 96 Q45 that is a daily driver but about to become a donor.
I know this topic has been discussed over and over and I have read everything on it but there's a few things that I haven't found answers about.
being a 96 with OBDII with this be possible to still spice into the Z harness? Or should I find a 90-95 ecu and harness? Will all the sensors on my 96 engine be different besides the back O2 sensors?
