VH Oil Strainer

I just noticed another part I got shorted on the engine...the oil strainer. Is this just a course type of filter that removes any big metal pieces (which hopefully don't exist?)? I would assume I should pick one of these up.

If you have the VH pickup tube it is inside the pickup. Just a mesh screen in there. If you don't have the pickup then you have bigger problems than just a screen...

Ah, got it. I remember looking at the FSM diagram and it looked like a separate piece. Maybe I do have it after all! Thanks T45.
