Vh into Z32 Crossmemeber Clearance

In the process of making up my engine mounts for the Zed. What sort of clearance between the crossmember/steering rack are other people using?

Here are some piccies of how I have mine setup at the moment, it looks fine to me, is it enough? It's about a inch. Also the intake manifold looks to stick out a lot more than other peoples, comments?

Looks about the same as mine, I might even have more clearance than that.

Looks about right, keep in mind the hood has a slight bulge in the center so it looks like less when the hood is on.
