I know of one guy that was working on one... and DeXter was planning to do one as well.

I've never seen one run in a 'vert yet.

But it's the same as any other S13 as far as the engine bay goes, so it can be done.

DO IT!!!!!

I've been planing on doing this swap to my vert for quite some time now. i've been looking around locally to find a Q45 running. No luck yet, but im in no hurry. It isnt that hard of a swap. But it isnt as easy as an sr swap tho. But go for it, let me know how it works out for ya.

thanks for the encouragement, i know it will be an interesting swap...ive got a buddy at work who can help when i get stuck, im very new still...ive researched as much as i can for a hatch swap and the body is essentially the same minus the roof so hopefully it works out

gonna go check a vert out on friday it needs a distributor coil and a new top, and a maf, and the p/s lines arent hooked up but other then that its fine supposedly....will decide when i get down there...its 1500$ im gonna try to get it for 800-1,000 because of the top and the other work needed....

the engine bay is the same right? like i could swap a distributor coil from a hatch into the vert right?

depends on if its a De or an E, but yes a vert is a coupe with out the roof. the exact same car, just a few things extra, like bracing and bigger brakes. as long as its a DE your getting parts from, your set.
