Pulled my old VH, spun a bearing for sure. Found slivers of it in the oil pan. I got another engine and trans so if anyone is interested in my old stuff it is for sale.

Engine bored .040 over with new pistons/rings/bearings before oil pump pulley slipped and lost oil pressure. Ported heads and lower runners. Z32 NA trans with bellhousing welded for mating to VH, worked perfectly. Trans pops out of 4th.

With an engine rebuild and bellhousing swap onto a Z32 trans this would be a usable combo for a 240 or 300 swap, or whatever else you have in mind. Make an offer, in Va Beach, VA and only I'm only here for another 1.5 weeks.

I know this isn't the classifieds section, just looking out for people that love this stuff as much as I do.

Will try and get pics tomorrow. Would like to get rid of it all. Make ridiculous offer, money talks. Need beer money. Bring Heineken.

not to hijack, but how do you think the oil pump pulley slipped? was it the one on the crank or the actual oil pump pulley?

I think when I torqued the crank pulley it got cockeyed and although I torqued it tight, it didn't have sufficient pressure on the oil pump drive gear. Either that or I just didn't have it tight enough. Keyless oil pump drive gear FTL.
