what parts differ on the motor besides the supercharger, injectors, and manifold? does it have a different compression ratio?

Yep, lower compression on the ER.

it shouldnt really matter if your just wanting to put the ER intake and all that on. i dont know what you would do about the pulley setup tho.

probably not, just get a longer belt unless the supercharger will be offset from the crank pulley, then your in trouble. but you'll need to convert to the ER harness and ecu and probably even the trans harness and possibly even the gauge cluster.

It doesn't seem like as good of a bang for the buck swap as I originally thought it'd be, but it would be cool to have a S/C QX4 I'd have to have a hole cut out of my hood tho. .

yea i looked at all the set backs and its not worth it but it would be pretty cool.

lol its not a setback for me really if i chose to do it. ive replaced my engine harness like 3 times. ended up not being the wiring at all. i think it would be cool to put a different supercharger on there that didnt need all the stock xterra s/c ecu and wiring. maybe like a powerdyne or something. i think i saw a s/c qx4 on cardomain a while back.
