mac , astrorami has good point ,my VG30DE motor w/internal knock sensor failed - the fix to relocate , something I saw on youtube showed drilling ,tapping, and way over on the passenger "bank". I said SHeeeeeeeeeaat! And I took off the goofy long plastic Art-Deco eng. cover and bolted a NEW OEM knock sensor to TOP of intake manifold (experimenting now

) by utilizing one of the "covers" MOST ENGINE CENTERD threaded hole , w/ thick steel washer on top and a sufficiently DEEP bolt .
I'm serious it seems to work as good or BETTER than the stupid factory "Inside Job" ! I was even able to get the EXTRA 2deg.timing advance that I like (15 deg. stock to 17 1/2 deg. BTDC for crisp response ! )
