can you use heat to free up a snapped stud on the head.lower intake has four bolt's and four stud's one of the stud's snapped when replacing lower intake. what is the best way to remove stud.

i know this is a couple weeks old now, but if you have access to a welder and air tools, what i've done a couple of times for snapped studs is weld a washer onto the stud (if it broke off flush with the surface), then weld a nut to the washer and zap it off with an impact gun. might take a couple of tries like that but it's worked for me 2 or 3 times now.
