Are you wanting to put the VG33 in your 93? If so, I'd use the sensors and wiring from the VG30. The big problem you're going to encounter is with the crank pulley. The snout on the VG33 is larger so it has a different pulley which likely won't line up with the VG30's accessories.

There are quite a few options to fix that issue, the most popular being putting the VG30 crank in the VG33. If you are doing that swap that would be pretty easy when both engines are out, just be sure to order the correct main and rod bearings and it will work fine.

the thing is, I currently have a ka24e, I know my screen name is a little misguiding, thats just a thought I was once dwelling on and decided not to mostly cause the money I dont have to get all that. but a free engine, well thats a different game!! But thanks for breaking it down...

i dont belive the ka24e bolt pattern is the same as the vg's, so you might have to swap the tranny too...
