Here's some videos for you, it is the same steps you will do, same formula. I did it on a new engine once and it's pretty simple, just take your time. The videos shows what you need to do, the first part will teach you some tricks but you want to watch the one where he replaces the distributor with a different one, not pulling the same one out and just putting it back in. Watch the videos and you will get the idea. I didn't find a video specifically for the VG33E but just the same. Part 1

You will need to find out what degree the timing is and if it's before or after top dead center(BTDC or ATDC).
