Is the Distributor as easy as it looks to replace? Does the timing need to be reset or anything like that? Would I need any special tools or seals or anything else to take this on myself?
Thanks ahead of time for any info.

It appears to be very straight forward and no specialty tools are required. Did you see the How-To for it? I have not it on the V33, but it's a very easy job on other similar setups.

Here's some videos for you, it is the same steps you will do, same formula. I did it on a new engine once and it's pretty simple, just take your time. The videos shows what you need to do, the first part will teach you some tricks but you want to watch the one where he replaces the distributor with a different one, not pulling the same one out and just putting it back in. Watch the videos and you will get the idea. I didn't find a video specifically for the VG33E but just the same. Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a2X9mSSlQY good tips and information to have. Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHX1yXVyIMg will start to show you your steps at 0.54 seconds into the video. Hope this helps..feel free to ask if you have questions. You will need to find out what degree the timing is and if it's before or after top dead center(BTDC or ATDC). You need to know the firing order and the rotation of the rotor(clockwise or counter clockwise). Part 3 setting the timing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYGU7mTwsZc Good Luck!

So after a new distributor problem still exists only thing I can think of is the fuel injectors. The only question is how do I know what ones? I have i notice looking around on the web choices of yellow, blue, black
how can you tell? They look pink to me.

Please help.
