VG33 into 89 Hardbody

So, I bought a 89 Hardbody last week, V6 4x4. The motor has a knock so I picked up the truck for 600 dollars. This was meant to be a project that I was going to take my time on, but I've run into an issue with my daily driver, and I need this thing on the road soon.
I've been doing some research, trying to find a motor for the truck. I know that I want to buy a VG33E for the truck, but I haven't been able to find any info on which VG33E is better. I know that the Pathfinder, Frontier, and XTerra versions are essentially all the same, but I wanted to know if there was a difference in accessory setup, intake plenum, cams and whatnot. I'll continue to search on my own, and make sure I post pics and updates whenever I can.

With the exception of the supercharged version all VG33E engines should be identical.
