Vg30E overall dimensions
I've got this idea(crazy to some) to put a vg30e/5 speed from a 300zx into my suzuki samurai. Does anyone have the dimensions of this engine? Front to back, side to side, height, etc. Thanks, Stuart

I happen to be putting a VG in a 1970 Datsun 521 truck here soon. So yesterday I went to the junkyard and took some measurements of the motor. sorry i didnt do the transmission measurements. I plan on going back and taking more of the transmission here soon.
From the cranknose to the back of the motor where the transmission meets = 22"
From the oil pan to the top of the intake manifold (z31turbo) =26-27"
from the furthest outside point on the exhaust manifold to the furthest outside point on the exhaust manifold is = 22"-23"
from the back of the engine (where the transmission connects), to the middle of the engine mount =10"
Width of the engine where the bell housing meets the back of the engine =15"
