I have a 91 M30. I bought it cheap with a misfire. So I replaced the spark plugs wires, and distributer cap. Then I figured out it was the #2 cylinder. I pulled the connector off the injector and it had a lot of corrosion on it. So I cleaned it with corrosion cleaner, gave it some dielectric grease, and put it back together. Now the entire left bank isn't firing. #4 and #6 cut out just like that. I can't figure this out, is there a fuse somewhere that just controls the left bank? The ecu is giving me the code 55. The list of codes I found said that this car shouldn't have that code. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Be sure to also replace the distributor rotor.

Generally one side of the engine has an injector harness that can separate from the main harness. I can't remember for sure if the M30 has one but follow the injector harness and see if there is a main plug for all three of the injectors. If so, check for corrosion there. I'd also check the other two injectors for corrosion as well.

There aren't any fuses that I know of for the injectors and I don't believe they have their own relay either so it either has to be the injectors, wiring, or the ECU.
