Ok guys Im looking for some advice on this swap. I usually do a ton of sr swaps and ka swaps but just recently this kid came to the shop with a 90 z32 5spd n/a and he wants a dett swap. Now I can get the engine from a local distributor for around 1k. He has $2500 to spend so my question to you guys is this swap possible for his budget?. What problems will I run into? What harness do I use? and if its a JDM engine will it matter? also what recommendations for the engine prior it being installed.

Thanks for all the help and hope to hear from you soon.

In short, NO not for 2500, unless you end up doing UBER s*** job. just the factory intercooler piping can run upto $600, think about everything else you would need.
