ok, im gonna do a swap to a vg30dett in my 88 300zx and i have some questions.

1. rear end/front end need to be changed?2. how do i connect the engine wire-harness to the instrument cluster?3. what blow-off valves should i get for it?4.will a z32 interior fit in a z31? (in order to just change the instrument cluster and bypass the wiring problem.)5.also what exhaust sounds the best for the vg30dett?6. should i just get a z32 halfcut for the parts? an american one anyways if u can get it.

1. As far as body wise? I wouldn't believe so but with so little information on this swap out there I'm unsure.

2. The best route would be to look at the FSM's of both cars and see which wire goes where. You can download them here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM

3. I personally like the Synapse Engineering Synchronic blow of valves.

4. Not likely... you could do a custom dash with the Z32 instrument cluster.

5. I personally like the sound of the LaBree exhaust systems but the problem is no Z32 exhaust system will likely bolt up to the Z31, at least not easily. Keep that in mind... you may have to do a custom exhaust system.

6. That would probably make the swap go a bit easier, though regardless there will still be a lot of fabrication/custom parts that need to be made. Having things like the cross member and such might make it easier to make those parts though so that may be the route to take.
