Hi,
Im thinking of building either a tt kit for my 350z OR a rear mount turbo kit can be connected/disconnected by the flip of a switch...
doing this with a solenoid triggered valve in an upside down Y pipe (like an A pipe without the -) for both the intake and exhaust with 2 more BOV for each upsidedown Y pipe valve thing...one of the legs of the A pipe will be going to the exhaust, the other to the turbo... the valve will control which one the top branch connects to...
same with the intake side...

it would be great if anyone would know if:
the VG30DEtt FI system will bolt on to the vq35de?? The headers apparently fit...from what I have read but I have not been able to see any done...
should I be buying a 350z headers or a 300zx tt headers?? (the 350z header is made for both NA and turbo...while the 300zx header is designed for FI only...

Would you know any good applicate turbo for a rear mount or mid-mount system?? a little on the smaller side... Im not looking to go above 4-5psi...if possible, I will stick with the stock injectors...they work for 350whp NA, I think they should be fine for 325whp FI

and has anyone ever seen an intercooler than can be fit under the car horizontally like some oil coolers??, rather than having to be installed as a vertical surface

you hav alot to learn, sure you can make anything fit with enough work, dont plan on running power steering, or a alternator, or hell even a oil filter since the vq30dett turbos sit right where those mount on the vq35. why on earth the complexity of the system, properly size the turbo and housing and theres no need the turbo isnt going to make the power until you get into it. essentially what your trying to do with the solenoids is turn it off, well if you dont floor it you wont make boost pretty easy switch if you ask me. google boosted performance 350z or boosted performance mid mount it should take you to the best turbo kit on the market for the z cars since i cant post links to other forums here. fits everything from a precision 6266 all the way up to a precision 7576 how do you plan on tuning the engine? and with your low power level trying to fab up something crazy like you have in your head is going to add so much weight to the car that it is going to perform the exact same as before the turbo kit and your going to need injectors even at only 4-5 psi your going to hit at least 350 hp, some kits(cough cough bp 6266) have recorded as high as 375 hp at that boost level, with the higher bsfc of turbo vehicles you need injectors no two ways about it.
