Hey new to forum I bought a Vg30det about 2 years ago
It sat for a bit now it smokes bad. 2 exhaust ports are soaked in oil 1 is not on the turbo side of engine. Looks like I’m going to need rings. Now from what I’ve heard is it’s the same parts as a DETT engine but the heads are different. Valve sizes are bigger but I’m wondering if the valve guides and seals are the same size?
Any one got any knowledge they would care to share?
It’s bone stock from what I can tell. It’s In my sand rail and I’ve seen handful in Arizona.
