Hey guys. brain picking time.. again ( sorry !! )

My good mate has dumped in front of me a vg30det T28 from one of his 1/2 cuts, except the exhaust wheel has snapped off, but not a hassle, i am sure i could find a new impellor set... what i'm wondering,. will it fit on a standard mani, or will i have to find buy an aftermarket one ?? Also will it fit my ca t25 hks dump pipe ??

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Pete

are you sure it's not a t3 ? I had a z31 turbo for a ka turbo kit and it was a straight t3.

IIRC, the Z32 turbo's are T25's, not T28's. Also, they don't have the same outlet flange as ours. They use a 4 bolt outlet as opposed to our 5 bolt outlet.

You could make it work, but it wouldn't be worth the trouble IMHO...

Hey thanks for the replies,, it actually is from a VG30DET.. single turbo 3 litre that came out in the zed.. not sure if it was it was a 31 or 32, forgot to ask.. have found out it is a T3 flange, and it's a t28.. think i mighgt hang onto it for a while, actually in chase for a pulsar gtir t28 which a friend can get hold of relatively cheaper, but atm i'm commited to doing a 5 stud conversion on the car...

thanks alot though guys

+1Can't be a T28 if it's got a T3 exhaust flange. A T28 is usually a T2 exhaust with a T3/T4 compressor.

isn't the t28 from a rb25 t3 flanged as well ??

this is going from info i have found.. but all i have laying around is other mitsi turbos, so i can't really just put them side by side, as they are a different exhaust altogether..

I have a spare pair of stock 32 gtr turbos at a friends house, i might put it up next to them to see the size.. gah !

thanks guys

Pete
