im in need of a new engine for my 91 Z32. i found a JDM VG30DET out of a Nissan Cedric for a 'fairly' decent price and was wanting some more info on this motor. first of all, will it fit? and secondly, what are some of its specs, reliability, stuff like that. if anybody has any info, id greatly appreciate it. thanks.

vg30det? what nissan is that out of? never knew they put a single turbo on a vg30de.

it is the motor they put in the JDM Nissan Cedric. kinda like Nissan's version of the Toyota Chaser, like a full size sedan. its a single turbo is all i know about it. i would like to know if it will drop right in like the de/dett motors or if it takes some work.
