how many you guys have vg30's in your 240, i have a 1990 and imm thinking of swaping the ka24 for the vg30det.

umm, you mean the tt right? I know that there are several people on here with such a setup, or in the process of a swap. If i remember correctly, usually only one turbo is kept, as the other gets in the way of the wheel well. Personally I would go rb, but vg can make some good power as well.

i think if the swap for the vg30et didnt involve so much fabrication and custom work, it would be a very popular swap...the engines are cheap, and can make ~300hp with minimal work

i was looking into the 30et swap for a while myself

edit: they also have good torque

the VG30DETT sems really wide with the twin cam heads and twin turbos, were I doing it I would go with the VG30ET with the single cam heads and single turbo. It's still an excellent engine.
