vg30DE under drive pully on the J?

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a 300zx underdrive pull yon the j30? i figuered it would work out fine so long as i get the right belt measurements because it is the same engine. Just let me know what you think/

yes it works. i've had it in my 94j for about a month now. revs up much quicker. search this forum for the belt sizes i posted not too long ago.

Hey, "Drape123" you have a "Custom FSTB" in your J, mind showing any pics cause i have been looking high and low for one. Haven't got any luck yet.

the FSTB for a Nissan Maxima 00 01 02 03 (got one on ebay for $24) is the right length, the bolts will fit but you have to cut and drill the supports a bit. i'll have pictures of all my mods soon.

could i get some pictures of your underdrive and FSTB?

also i looke dinto the Crank pully some more.. i noticed that all the name brand ones aare roughly $200... im just not comfortable putting a $30 Crank pully on my car. what if is an extreme under-drive to where the factory components wont run at all. i was looking into an Unorthodox Racing crank pully, i may get one. But i would mostly like to see the pics of your FSTB, so i can see how you modded it. htere seems to be no space under the hood to alow the bar to clear, but im sure you go tit just right. Thanks

i'll have pictures soon. the $30 crank pulley is just as good as the $200 one except its not painted, and not name brand. as long as it was made on a CNC machine, it will be a high quality, fully balanced pulley.
