It has been done on a few cars by shops such as Z1Motorsports and SGP. I would recommend lowering your compression (be either installing a TT block or installing aftermarket pistons) if you want any useful life out of your motor. Also, you would still need all of the associated piping for the turbo system. The coilpacks are the same for the TT and NA, and the wiring harness *could* be re-used if you install an aftermarket boost controller, but since the motor is going to be out to install the turbos anyway, you may as well install a new harness. Other things you will need are an ECU and bigger injectors. There is a good writeup that is stickied at the top of the Technical Forum on twinturbo.net regarding NA to TT conversions, I highly recommend reading it if you are considering going that route.
