Would the VG30DE-TTbe more work than swaping a sr20det in an 89 240sx? I have found a motor and transmission for not much more than the sr20det.

ThanksJoe

Isn't the VG30DETT pretty darn wide? I mean if you have an infinite source of income, sure you can make it fit. But with the outer dimesnsions of the V configured engine, I'm guessing its probably too wide for a normal engine swap. You'd have to dump some cash into some major fabrication to get that thing to fit.

I was told that the motor was much heavier and if I had turbo trouble I would have to replace them both. I guess I shall stick with a sr20det and put a bigger turbo.

Thanks all,

Joe
