VG30DE into S14????

Ok I used the search button and didn't find anything in relation to my question. I was wondering if anybody has done or know if the VG30DE... using J30 motor ) can fit into the S14??? If so was wondering if they made mounts and where to get them and any info relateing to this swap. I haven't seen this done around this area and was wondering if anybody had any info on this. thanks againChris

i believe that it has been done but it is not a popular swap especially on this forum. many people will tell you it is a crap motor and to go with a sr. i like the idea for originality because i like to be different. as for the mounts they would need to be fabbed but that is minor work. the only prob i have heard of is that the manual trans used with the vg30 (300z trans) is way bigger in diammeter and may and i stress may cause clearance issues with the trans tunnel. as far as the auto trans i dont know. also all you would need to make a driveshaft is the front yoke that matches the trans and have a driveshaft shop fab up the proper length shaft. other than that get the right ecm and wiring and it will fit. they have put just about every type of engine possible in a 240 including chevy v8's new and old so anything is possible if you got the funds
