im working on a VG30DE the fan clutch& fan were replaced twice and failed twice somehow at my cousins mechanic. i replaced water pump and fan clutch. now the engine dont wanna start. be4 i got the car to my yard to fix, i was told by the shop in order to start the car u must remove ECT sensor. it worked. now with the car sitting in my yard with new waterpump and all it does not want to start at all. it cranks but no start and the sensor is disconnected. can the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor actually be the cause?

You should reconnect everything then see if it starts. It may be flooded so you might try holding the gas pedal to the floor then crank it till it fires.

with the petal floored, air intake is at its maximum. if its flooded, it should work. I did flood my j once and flooring it did work. one of my older cars flooded all the time. flooring it also worked.

i dont think the motor is flooded . i dont see how the motor would get flooded for changing a water pump and fan clutch. i think its off timing guys. any idea on how to time this baby. ive never worked on a nissan v6 be4 but thats not stoping me from trying. any online manuals of some sort?
