The parts can definitely swap over as the engines are pretty much identical. The only issues you might have is clearance with the turbo, the computer setup will likely be different as the fuel injection setup is different so there's a chance you'll need the ecu and wiring harness from the Z as well. I've never messed with a TBI VG so I'm not sure how different the whole setup is.

Yeah, everything will definitely bolt up. Just pull all of the external parts needed off of the Z VG and slap them on your VG and you're good to go. The VG block and head castings after 87 stayed the same for most vehicles (the vans got a weird non-interference VG and then of course you have the VG33E in the later trucks but supposedly some parts can still be swapped).

Anyways... you shouldn't have any bolt on issues at all. Good luck!

Aside from the turbo not fitting, no place to mount an intercooler, re-wiring almost everything for FI and getting everything worked out...sure, it all bolts on. It won't run after you've bolted it on, but hey, it will bolt on.

There are reasons that hardly anybody has done a VG30ET swap on a Pathfinder or truck. First is no room, second is $$$$$$ to get it to work. The only turbo swaps I've seen on a V6 are in street-only show trucks with a large amount of money invested in them.
