i have a question. ive searched and couldnt find an answer. if i get a vg30 from a maxima can i use the z32 tranny?? i can get the motor just about free cuz my friend wants to get rid of it and im going to do the vg30de swap into my 240. so will it bolt up?? thanks for your input.

It will bolt up but clutch wise you might need to go with the N/A tranny as the TT uses a 250 mm clutch setup. Now... the 87-89 300ZX Turbo also uses a 250 mm setup so depending on where the ring gear for the starter is that might work out but I've never tried it and haven't seen any info online about it so that part you'd just have to try out.

Bolt pattern wise, they're all the same. Good luck.
