vg30 in 240sx

I KNOW ITS A RB FORUM...lol

Im askin u guys....only cause u are the most active in swaps and are more familiar with whats goin to fit in a 240sx. it looks like the vg is next generation of engines we get to play with...I was wonderin if anyone actually put a VG in a 240 yet. or is there no way it could fit. just something to think and post about.

RB is better in every way except displacement and parts availability.

I absolutley hate the VG....I'd take the SR over the VG, and I hate the SR. Go RB or keep the KA, the rest is a waste. Well, you could drop in a 350. Rather that then the VG.

My friend is actually in the process of building a VG powered s14. He already dropped the engine in an s14 once after he made his mounts and such, but ended up taking it back out due to lack of funds. He has recently purchased a stripped down s14 chasis and is going turn it into a VG powered race car. Previously owning a few Zs I am a big fan of the VG engine, but it is still no Race Breed. Here is the information from the first time he did the swap.

I think he meant VQ series. Hence the term " next generation of engines".
