I actually found a couple of these on ebay. These strut tower bars are from http://www.cpracing.ca Their prices on their website are cheaper, and they include free shipping. Their rear strut tower bar is all welded, no joints that allow movement (this impressed me) AND to top it off it's a 4 point STB which means it mounts to the floor in the back and the front STB mounts to the firewall.

I was going to go with a set of Megan Racing strut tower bars, but these seem like they would provide better rigidity. Does anyone on here have 4 point strut tower bars, and if so did they really improve the chassis?

Ive heard that they dont really do a hell of alot, because most of the torqueing of the stb's is towards one another and away from each other. As long as the endplates were good, and good materials were used, it should be a decent product. If you are looking for a nice beefy front/rear bar, I would look into the dc sports ones. I have one up front and it is amazing. It is solid like those, and has a twin bar design. It's damn stiff.

^if ya wanna check it out. I picked up mine for 100. worthwhile investment, especially now that I have some CO's on.

i think it would be more sturdy if the bars formed a triangle at the bottom. you could make one of those, its only three bars welded together with the mounts.

I've heard and seen pictures of the cp racing strut tower bars and they are pretty ruff, jagged edges, crap paint, crappy drilling. They basically look like some guy fabbed them up in his garage. I would not only be concerned about having a craptastic homemade looking strut bar in my engine bay, but the build quality as. Also I remember hearing that the firewall mounts are bad ideas as they can flex the firewall, possibly punch through it with extreme stress on the track, and you can count on them going through the firewall in an accident. I don't think I would be too happy that I totaled my S13 because of a stupid strut tower bar.
