Very very very ODD idle?!?!

Ok, gotta a problem, I have the weirdest idle in the WORLD!! Like I start it up, sometimes I have to tap the gas to get it going, sometimes not, but when I let go the idle goes normal, jumps upto about 3.5k jumps back down and sometimes almost stalls out then normal, then backup and repeats process, anyone have any ideas??

Throttle Position Sensor, maybe?

TPS would make you idle higher, but it would be a steady idle. Check for AIV clogging, CLEAN YOUR AIR FILTER.

Oh ya, I failed to mention, when it does jump up at 3.5k it usually stays there for awhile. Sorry

Wow, that is a freaky one... umm I had a list of thing to check, but you said it jumps then says there? I'm at a loss on this one.
