Very unusual header/exhaust (i think) problem.........need help

ok, so i just got rid of the pre-cat and cat. i installed an OBX racing header/downpipe combo on my 02 SE-R. i have a really weird problem though. idk if it's with the o2 sensors, (the check engine light did come on). but my car is automatic, and in drive it shakes. while idling, and does it A LOT worse when i accelerate. it almost feels like the exhaust is banging up against the bottom of the engine. weird thing is it doesn't do it in park, neutral, or reverse. just the drive gears (1, 2, and D). i don't think an o2 sensor would do that. please help?

Have you tried resetting the ECU after installing the header?

yeah, i've tried like 6 times but the instructions on here and on the v board don't seem to be working. has it ever worked for you?

Haven't tried it on the Spec V, but it is the same process as the g35 and it worked for me. It is a very precise process, took me a few tries to get it to work.

yeah, i just got it to work. it didn't help anything. i need to get a casper's o2 sim but i have NO IDEA where to get one. can't find it on ebay and they don't produce them new anymore.....anyone know where to get one?

dude your mass air flow sensor is ****ed up same **** happened here jsut replace that and ull be fine...and AUTOMATIC SE-R?!?

hey i have an 02 automatic too....and i have the same type of headers just that they are DC......but did you have to drill a bung after your cat before the exhaust for the second O2 to go?

you can make your own o2 spacer for like 5 bucks just go the autozone and get a sparkplug defouler and tap it...
