ok i have a 90' S13 hatch, with a 95' dohc swap....it is a 5 speed

when im just driving along in the day while the lights are OFF i can use my turn signals fine...now when i engage either my day time drivers or my headlights (night lights) my passenger (right side) tail lights semi illuminates the blinker light and it actually indicates this on the gauge cluster with a slightly lit right blinker indicator....at which point i can no longer use my right turn signal, but i can still use my left...HERE COMES THE WEIRD PART lol i can still use my hazards fine and they both work.....

i need ideas....of where to start its either a short SOMEWHERE or voltage is bleeding through from somewhere else

Sounds to me like a bad bulb socket, or a bad ground.Pull your sockets out , give the wires a wiggle test and see what happens.

i actually had an entire other housing and replaced the whole thing just to see if it could be a quick fix and the problem doesnt seem to be in the hatcharea....i pulled the lamps (bulbs) out to see if maybe it was a dual fillament in a singles place but its not.....its very strange maybe somethings gone insane upfront

because another issue i have (its truely awesome tho lol) is when i turn my daytime driver lights on and my hazards , my front blinkers , blink back and forth like police lights ...like one at a time not simultaneous

You might want to check the alt output.A few years ago i had a Ford Probe in the shop and the headlight doors were going up and down like that.It was crazy! It turned out that the alt was putting out close to 18.5 volts. It was making every thing in the electrical system act nutty.

have you removed the front bumper lately?...i had an issue awhile back where the turnsignal harness would rub on the bumper and short out my fuse for the headlights..but only when i turned the lights on and used my blinkers..the hazards would work...and brake lights would work...but running lights would blow the fuse...turnes out..i pinched one of the harnesses for those lights on the inner bumper and it was grounding...i have seen others with the same issue..take a look there bro..keep us posted.

The easiest way to fix this issue instead of tearing your whole car apart trying to figure out what it could be is to use the FSM for your year car. It will have a troubleshooting section that will have a problem similar to yours and the steps to go through in order to figure out the problem and fix it. I wired a s14 sr20 into a 95 s14 using the fsm and once you learn how to use these they can be life savers. The list of possible causes this could be is endless.
