I have a 90 s13 hatch and I cannot get my shift knob off I searched around and can't find anything to hot to take it I don't think it's a twist off cos I twisted the sh*t out of it and still can't vet it off can someone help meee please

I put a rag on it an used channel locks put a nice little inprint on the knob and I don't think there's a Allen head cos I looked around and can't find one but I will try harder tommorrow

No kidding. Sometimes those stock knobs take some serious muscle to get off of there. If it isn't stock, though, see if the bottom section unscrews to reveal allen studs. I've seen a few Sparcos that are like that.

My brother tried and he's stronger than my dad that thing is n there tight!!!!!! When we tried we twisted lime the whole shifter the knob would not let loose

As long as you don't care about the appearance of the knob (replacing it afterwards), then vice grips have worked for me on junk yard cars.

If all else fails you could take the shifter out and replace it.

The shift knobs are put on at the factory be machine iirc, so just twist the crap out of it, itll act like its not working but once you wear on it itll budge eventually, thats how i did it :)
