91 240sx coupe 5 speed 242,000kms on it.

after driving on a trip its started to get loud. sounds like its coming from the transmission. 1st and 4th are fairly quite but 2nd, 3rd, and 5th are very loud . I can barely hear my 2.5 " mandrel exhaust now where before the exhaust was all I could hear before. I just got some redline transmission fluid and I will change it tommorrow.

its quite loud when I engine brake as well in any gear

any other suggestions?
