It is interesting but I honestly think it will be a disappointment to US fans. For one the Skyline is so popular here because WE DONT HAVE IT. It is human nature for people to want what they cant have. Sure if it WERE here it would be popular but not to the level it is at right now (IMO). Sercondly, juding from teh horse power figures alone, this car will be priced higher than the entry level 25-30K "sports cars" we have on the market right now. Further making it unattainable for the average joe. The GTR retails for what in Japan new....60K tops?? Not too sure. I think it will surpass that price here though. So, it is good news for the guy who buys cars just because he can, but the REAL fans will be left disappointed.....

Oh come on! 2007??? Ok, so Nissan said this back in like 1998. The Skyline GT-R was coming in 2003 as an Infinity model. It was even in Car & Driver magazine, complete with a picture of a white, gold package (Infinity style) GT-R. And then it was in another magazine... Maybe Road & Track? And remember how many times the new Z was coming? Yeah, the Z is finally here, but it may be 2020 before the Skyline actually gets here, IMHO.

Anyway, I will believe it when I see them sitting in dealers' lots. And like spec-v5150 said, most of us still will not be able to afford it.

I dont think I will get hyped over it. It looks to be in the super car (aka expensive) category and those dont do much for me. I would just as soon get a 350Z and turbo that ****
