Well....damn
Just got back from the track, where I had the pleasure of being very disheartend with a fastest 17.8 @ 84 MPH 1/4 mile pass. The first one was even slower than that.
So first thing I know is that I need a better boost controller, my boost goes everywhere from 10 to 15 PSI, and when I try to keep it down by letting off with the throttle it screws everything up.
But here are the two things I need help with. 1) My car absolutly does not idle well. My friend has been helping me out, and he says that the TPS may be bad, so we're going to be checking all sorts of electrical stuff tomorrow and sunday. Any suggestions with the idle?
Also the car runs excessivly rich, now granted it has 850 CC injectors, however, the ECU is mapped for them, and the FPR is conected. I've always heard vacuum leak? I guess look around for one of those? Any other suggestions? Chris

It does have something to do with your boost stuff. Vacuum or something that can cause boost spikes.
At least you did better than I did my first time. Ran an 18.0xx at 93 mph. Second one was 15.038 at 92 mph. Third one was 15.5xx at 91 mph and 4th one was 15.6 mph at 78 mph(engine died and coasted to the finish line)
