I just got home around 10pm tonight from the remains of my moms house. The central heat unit cought fire and burnt all the house except the back porch and my little sisters room. They were getting ready to paint inside so they had clothing on the motorhome. And alot of important stuff was on the back porch. No one was home and the only house dog was with my mom and sister. My mom and both my sisters lived there with my older sisters 3 young boys.

yeah I hope it's insured...still doesn't give back memories and then you have to rebuild...but insurance still helps...a lot.

That sucks, my friends house burnt down and they actually came out real good, their 19 in 1980's TV was replaced by a big screen, and all kinds of other stuff. 486= new P4 , etc.

good to see no one was there at the time. At work, we had a electrical fire a few days ago at night. We didn't notice until we decided to turn on the lights, half the lights and outlets didn't work. Good luck with rebuilding.

My mother-in-law seems to be doing pretty good about things. The boys seem to be fine about it now since they know they will get new things again. They just don't understand things like that. Its amazing that the younger one just by keeping the door closed it made such a big difference fromt the rest of the house. I'm curious about what the new house for them will be like.

I remember watching my old neighbors house burn straight down to the ground and the 2 little kids that live there were crying and thinking it was their fault. That was caused by a wall heater and stuff piled next to it.

these times are horrible..

I hope everything turns out ok for your mom Bandit240...

But hey, If your mom needs it, which she will... I know a really great Restoration company that can take care of all the stuff for her.. including recovering all the items that are on the property and help with the rebuilding and all.. since the insurance company will just give her the money and that's it.

if you or your mom need to talk about it.. let me know.. my number is 714-325-2841.. I can get you and your mom in contact with a sales rep from the company...

Nothing from the house is good(except for my sisters stuff) it gutted the house. They will end up tearing it down and putting something new in place of it.

HOLY SHI7, 48 acres? Damn why build something so small, sell half of it and build a mansion

Man I thought my 12,000 SQ FT property in Los Angeles was the shiznit. Damn cant get over 48 acres lol. IN some lake town east of LA called Lake Elsinore I own 2 Acres of land off Lake St. So I know how much land 48 Acres is. Damn!
