is it me...or the verts with onevia fronts look better than the silvia fronts?

Maybe its cuz the silvia front body kits suck?

i dunno.

my vert looked nice when it had a stock silvia front lol

All those onevia body kits look hella hot.

hahaha, you know, homemade vents dont look so bad if theyre done right, but like, the ones on that car, they have like rough edges and theyre not perfectly even. but hey, if you know how to do it right, rock on lol

Not that it's all that big a deal, but i just wanted to clarify something about the car. Yes it's mine and no i'm not restoring it just to sell.

I started the project for myself. This car was going to be my daily driver, then i found out midstream that we were expecting our first born child so i decided to sell the car. It's not like i don't have another one. I've got a maroon hatch (link here) that i bought new in 93 and then this black car and another red vert as the new daily driver, all of which are turbo. well the red vert will be turbo in the very near future. I decided to sell the hatch and the black vert and keep the red vert as a daily just so i could keep some Nissan in my blood.

I just didn't want anyone to think that i was building cars just to sell. I was building the car the way "I" wanted. And after i decided to sell it, i made my mind up that i was going to finish the car the way "I" wanted so no one would rice it out. that's all.

Link to the red car is here http://www.fastandfuriouseast....1.php

take care guys, Kyle

Guys, here is my contribution to this thread. I found this kit after watching a sick video the other day of a vert and a rider...having fun at a japanese speedway. I have the video too (I'm sure most of you have seen it) - the kit in the video is the same kit you see here (same color too). I discovered it, only when I paused the vid momentarily to see the windshield banner. Which had the company name on it.

Yea...the video you saw is from BIG X at Ebisu circuit and that was Yasayuki Kazama driving it. I too have watched that video.

I don't know. The WiseSports kit sorta makes it look like a Trans Am or Camaro or something? IMO, the offset on those wheels is WAAAAAAAAAY better than the kit.

and that's (sorta) the reason I like it. The new front end accentuates the natural usdm style (or 180sx..whatever..you know what I mean) front end - popup headlights.

See, too many heads on this forum are silvia-front end whores! (and I mean that in a nice way). I've been saying forever and ever...that the STOCK popup look is soooooooo much sweeter. Sorry guys, but the whole silvia front end just doesn't do it for me (to each his own though).

Also, some of you on this forum might remember when I ranted about the "look" and "Feel" of the 240sx....and how, when I was a child...I worshipped K.I.T. from knight rider. I got a black vert...so when I drive at night...I'm always reminded of kit everytime I put up the lights....a nice warm nostalgic feeling...(sigh).

Anyways...I will agree, the wheels are tight...volks I believe...

Silvia front end rules. Sorry pop up's is for people that settle for what they get. Real players do what they want , simple men do what they can.

when i saw kazama driving that car many years back, thats when i knew i wanted my vert, however his is way better. jsuta word for those who are trying to build verts...to do it right....it cost easily twice as much as a coupe or fb to do. and whoever said they didnt like kits with silvia fronts...they are so wrong. my car is on page one. not the best vert but it gets the job done.

That was me that made the comment about the front end. Personally, I'm just not "feelin it". But hey, thats mho - that's all. As for your vert though - I actually dig it...wide fenders...etc. I saved your pic a while ago b/c I was looking into the cage job you did. PS: Got any more pics of the cage in specific? Sorry to thread jack...
