ok...heres the story...i bought my vert about 3 monts ago..i did a 5 lug swapped from a 95 240sx se...there was a little bit of problem with the front....the shocks are s-14 and the s-14 bolts don't fit.....so i used the s-13 bolts(which are slighlty smaller and they fit) with the s-13 bolts, whenever you turn or drive, sometimes the car crank or make some noises.....i was thinking of drilling the shpcks slighty bigger to make the s-14 bolts fit or buy the shock mount spacer for 240sx on ebay...

if you don't knowat they are, go to this site...

From what I've read, you need to do one or the other (redrill shocks or get spacers). I'd personally be more inclined to get spacers - no machining, and they are reusable should you put different shocks on.

widening the holes isn't that much of a pain either. find a bit that is the right size and go to town.
