I need help quick! I have lined up the purchase of a 92 240sx vert with 5sp swap and many other extras. Here's the problem..I live in WI and do NOT have a garage. How's the top going to hold up in the spring rain and the inevitible winter snow? My wife is FREAKING OUT about leaking and heavy snow collapsing the roof. I have never owned a vert and know NOTHING about them. I tried to research, but have come up empty. Please help quick!!!

we have vert owners all over north america, US and canada. Im sure your top will hold up fine, I barely got any leakage during the huricane we had over here in virginia, so im sure any storms you have will not leak through

You should be fine with the snow deal, the verts parked in the middle. The top should hold up against the rain, hopefully you wont have any annoying leaks in it.

I have run all 3 of mine through northern Pa. winters (3) without any problems. Though this last winter was exceptionally hard on the bodies. Nothing major, just stuff I have to take care of before it becomes major. I will add that they are not the best vehicle to drive in snow conditions though, you really have to drive ahead of yourself at times.

im sure you could rig up a contraption to keep snow from building up on the top, like a ghetto tent or even strap a piece of plywood or something to keep if off the fabric and on the frame before any large projected snowfalls.. as far as leaks.. here in florida we get retarded amounts of rain and mine has a little drip from the rubber seals( sectional) where they meet, but it's just a slight drip, and my vert was NOT taken care of at all, had to replace top with GIANT holes like a pirate flag, and destroyed interior, so with any luck, yours might not even have that problem
