I was looking around searching couldn't find my answers, I'm new to the verts and wasn't sure if there was any difference to their suspension setup to a hatch or coupe, so for example...can I use a set of KTS coilvers from a hatch for my vert?

any input would be great thanks.

Yeah the suspension should all be identical and fit just the same on the 'vert as they do on coupes or hatchbacks.

However, I do remember reading that you might need to trim something just a tad to get the rears to fit. 94_240sx was saying something about that.

I've swapped out my stock struts and Tein coilovers to my vert. Never had a problem with anything at all. Bolted right in!

There is some support cutting that will need to be done to have room for the adjusters on the rear coilovers.

What brand were/are you using? I don't have this problem with my Tein. Then again, there is not a separate adjustment tool required to adjust dampening. The EDFC unit however will not fit because of the top.

I just have springs/shocks, but have heard of D2/megan/stance(?) that don't have the room for the dampner adjuster knob on the top unless you cut out a little on each side.

I've got Endura Tech coilovers and they have a removable adjustment knob for setting the dampening. I had to trim the bracing above the coils just to get them to fit. If I want to adjust the dampening, I'll have to raise the car and drop the coils from the towers.
