so i got my vert almost a year ago and when i first got it, dropping the top also dropped the rear quarter windows; however after my alarm was installed it doesn't do that anymore. i went through and checked, there are no cut wires, nothing not connected,.. everything looks like it should. i can even use the switch in the center console to raise and lower the rear quarter windows.

so i guess my question is, how do i fix that? better yet, if it's possible to wire all the windows to the top down switch that'd be even better.

thanks in advance

Well, if it happened after installing your alarm, my first suggestion would be to uninstall the alarm to see if it still happens.

The only other way would be to go through the troubleshooting section in the vert fsm supplement (I believe someone has uploaded on here if you don't want to buy one).

This isn't some problem being caused by the Window Lock button on the driver's door panel, right? Was this just an alarm install, or alarm and keyless entry?

If that was the case, wouldn't the center console up/down switch not work?

And I think the rear quarters still go up/down when you do the window lock w/ the top up/down button - not 100% on that tho, I should try that tmrw, haha.

Ok, so here's more info (based on the statements thus far)

1. i did try removing the alarm, didn't help2. the window lock switch isn't engaged, the windows roll up and down fine.3. the rear quarter switch operates the rear quarter windows just fine

basically everything works great,.. or atleast appears to if you didn't know the rear quarter windows were supposed to go down with the top.

Yeah, but I like to eliminate the simplest problems.

Hope this will help you somewhat.
