is it possibly to get this thing not to flex...can a vert 240really be made just as stiff as a hardtop 240? w or w/o a rollcage? ive seen old jap vids with those dude drifting before plenty of times; can think of any names now though but, you've seen it...

from what ive been told the vert's are almost as stiff as the coupe thanks to nissan's insane chassis bracing.however seam welding the car and putting braces on the chassis couldnt hurt.gotta remember tho, a vert will never be as stiff as a hard top car, its a box without a lid.

well it has more bracing to compensate for a lack of a roof.i bet if u put ona full rollcage it would be very strong.

good supprised or bad suppriesed its always possible, it just might be expesive and heavy, but I bet with a roll cage (from my readings getting a roll cage for a vert is easier said then done) it wouldnt be anything noticable, just real heavy.

the vert already has great rigidity from nose to tail. The problem I keep seeing (at least with own vert) is it's torsional rigidity. That can be fixed with a small, lightweight rollbar.

good suprised If you were really unsatisfied, a do luck rear support bar is close enough to a cage. Throw some coilovers on and call it a day.
